BRDS recognizes that children are unique individuals. All aspects of their growth follow a pattern, but all development is at the individual’s own rate. Children learn best through play. Therefore, our task is to provide an environment and curriculum, which are developmentally appropriate for young children, yet flexible enough to meet each individual’s needs. This type of setting will provide opportunities for children to develop to their full potential physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

Summer Program

The summer program at Bowen Road Day School focuses on fun through learning. Each day of the summer program presents the children with a new activity which will keep both their young mind and body active. Activities range from arts and crafts to physical challenges. Our goal during the summer is to create an environment in which the children excited about coming to BRDS everyday. The staff of BRDS want the children to not only learn new and exciting things during the summer program but also have great fun. It is after all summer!
